Nicolle R. Womack-Sinclair
Resident Intern to Dr. Joanne Frederick-Leiva, NCC, LPC, LCPC
I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Criminal Justice in 2005 at North Carolina Wesleyan College, and Masters of Business Administration in 2012 at University of Maryland. I am a Masters-level counselor-in-training through Northwestern University, working toward a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Resident Intern with JFL & Associates Counseling, LLC and The HOPE Center of Carmody Hills. Through my affiliation with this program and internship, I am qualified to counsel under the supervision of a clinical director of the university and a licensed supervisor and counseling professional at this site. My current education has prepared me to counsel adults, adolescents, children, groups, couples, parents, and families experiencing a variety of life challenges, and I will continue to receive close supervision, collaboration, and consultation to provide you with the best care possible. I am actively interning to prepare for the state licensure. I believe in incorporating a variety of modalities and theories into practice, and a strengths-based approach that is client-centered. I am also a member of the Maryland Counseling Association and the American Counseling Association.
